Second Front Systems’ (2F) RevOps team is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic and collaborative creative team. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and effective designs across various print and digital platforms. From concept ideation to final execution, you will contribute to our organization's overall brand identity and marketing efforts. We are seeking a creative contractor who wants to operate on the front lines of an exciting and disruptive mission.

What You’ll Do
- Design and implement visually appealing website layouts, user interfaces, and interaction designs using standard web design tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with growth teams to understand company objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather feedback.
- Create visually compelling artworks, including but not limited to logos, brochures, advertisements, social media graphics, website designs, and promotional materials.
- Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback to improve the user experience.
- Maintain and update website content, including images, videos, and text.
- Ensure website compliance with accessibility standards and search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging web technologies, proposing innovative ideas to enhance our online presence.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for web-related projects when necessary.
- Assist in the design of digital assets, including email templates, marketing collateral, landing pages, and presentations.
Skills You’ll Bring to Our Team
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in web design, graphic design, or a related field
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design languages and frameworks.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal.Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently with little guidance.
- Proven track record of designing and maintaining visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in the defense or technology industry is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance
- Previous experience working in national security
- Experience working and developing with the technologies we use
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Passionate about the software engineering craft
- Ability to adopt, create, and iterate on changing procedures
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and practices
